Meet Dr. Jasenna Johnson
My approach to orthodontics is rooted in a deeply personal and patient-centric philosophy. It’s driven by a passion not merely for perfecting smiles but for the significant, positive transformations these changes bring to my patients’ lives and overall well-being. I take great pride in devising customized care plans tailored to each person’s distinctive needs and aspirations. My objective is to elevate my patients’ dental health, boost their confidence, and significantly enrich their quality of life.
Credentials
As a native of North Carolina, I began my educational journey at UNC-Chapel Hill, later earning my DDS degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. After graduation, my husband and I relocated to our nation’s capital, where I completed my specialty training at Howard University’s College of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics.
In addition, I’m proficient in laser therapy treatment, complex interdisciplinary cases and management of orthognathic surgery cases. I am also an active member of several dental associations, including the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and the American Dental Association (ADA). My commitment to continuous learning ensures I provide my patients with the most up-to-date and effective treatments.
Outside of the Office
When not creating beautiful smiles, I value time well spent lounging around with my husband and our three girls, watching YouTube or Disney+. We are a very close-knit bunch who enjoys traveling with an affinity for warmer climates.
My family is my biggest source of joy and inspiration, reinforcing my dedication to fostering a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere at Chatham Orthodontics, where every patient becomes a part of our extended family.

My mission is to evolve through continuous learning and to bring happiness into the lives of as many individuals as possible by brightening their smiles. As a Latin dance instructor, I am fluent in Spanish and possess a lifelong passion for dance, which adds a unique vibrancy to my interactions.
My journey in the medical field spans over ten years, including valuable experience at the UNC Dental Faculty Practice in Orthodontics. Certified in dental radiology, I'm thrilled to embrace the role of Practice Manager/Treatment Coordinator at Chatham Orthodontics. Hi, I’m Hannah! I was born and raised right here in Chatham County, and I’m proud to call this community home. I began my career as a dental assistant in an orthodontic office and knew almost immediately that orthodontics was where I wanted to be. Now, with 10 years of experience, I still love what I do!
My favorite part of my job is building relationships with our patients and their families and watching their confidence grow throughout their orthodontic journey. I especially love having the opportunity to care for patients right here in the community that has always been home to me.
Outside of the office, my favorite place to be is with my family. You can usually find me cheering on my son at one of his sporting events, spending time with my pet chickens, or enjoying a beautiful day at the lake. I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by the people—and animals—I love!
